What this is
Medicophilia is a free revision resource for doctors sitting the MCCQE and MRCP Part 2. There are two parts to it: revision notes, and a bank of 18,340 practice questions across 92 sets. Other exams may follow; nothing is promised until the questions are actually here.
How it is written
Notes follow how revision tends to go rather than how textbooks are organised: the mechanism in one paragraph, then the discriminating features, then what you do about it, then the specific detail that separates the right answer from the plausible one.
Where a topic suits a table, it gets a table. Where it suits a mnemonic, it gets a mnemonic. Where neither helps, it gets prose.
How it stays free
There is no paywall, no trial, and no card. The site is funded by display advertising. Ads are kept out of the question interface entirely — a paper is hard enough without something flashing next to option C.
You do not need an account. Everything works signed out, with your progress saved in your own browser. An account exists only so that progress can follow you to another device.
Accuracy
Medicine moves and mistakes happen. If you find something wrong, out of date, or simply badly explained, please say so — corrections from readers are the fastest way this gets better.
